1:00 am	(Pretend I’m not a horrible person, and it was closer in the timeline to this.) [Private to the Order of the Phoenix] It has been confirmed that His name is a taboo. The emergency phone received a call from a Mr. Peakes, desperate to find his son who had grievously injured and taken from their home. I met with Mr. Peakes and his wife, to further understand what had happened. Their son, Jimmy Peakes, is a fourteen year old muggleborn wizard who had been retracted from school by his parents when they learned about the dangers that potentially wait for a muggleborn wizard in these times. He had been explaining to them everything, begging them to let him return to Hogwarts when the name slipped from his lips and a woman came to take him away. Neither parent knows what happened yet, as they were rendered unconscious by the witch. When the awoke there was nothing left of their son but a foot and a lot of blood. He is, in the strictest sense, missing---but it’s unlikely he is still alive. I wiped their mem They do not wish to be contacted by any more of us unless we find their son alive. You’ve done it, and there is no point in undoing it. You’ve saved them the knowledge of unknowingly viewing the only remains of their son, knowing that he’s dead and that perhaps if they’d done things differently he wouldn’t be. 2:09 am	I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas, and I can’t wait to ring in the New Year the only way I know how. With awesome people, booze and fireworks! [Alex Jones] I need help. I’m reviewing a case that one of the trainee’s pulled from the archive (it’s a lesson for them, to be constantly reviewing old cases seeing what they can learn from them). Anyway, they misplaced a part of the file, including the layout of the prophet which is the scene of the whole she-bang, and I was wondering if you knew who I could speak to about being reissued some of the blue prints. 1:09 am	My hand is starting to cramp from filling out all this damn paperwork. I have my official meeting with my Supervisor in the morning about my “in-depth Employment Analysis”. What a load of hogwash, really. You’d think that since I’ve been gainfully employed here for the last… thirteen years (Merlin, I feel old!) they would already know that I’m clearly qualified for my position.
